I just love this artist and his whole approach. This is a great book with lots of solid advice packed into it. It’s fun to read because he speaks in a very original voice in my opinion. He’s just so real, he’s walked his talk, and his work is amazingly creative and loveable. I aspire to own one of his paintings soon! I have made notes and highlighted just about every page. This is more than a good read on how to be better at business or believe in yourself. Kent is encouraging and inspiring in a really practical way. He gives just enough spark to ignite your imagination. Light bulbs are turning on. I am encouraged but not overwhelmed. I leave the book thinking, I can be, i can totally do this.
As a painter, it's more than a little heartening to read authenticity in motion from the POV of a painter birthing himself 'as himself' into the world. We need a lot of these types of births in the world. I read a lot. I'm picky. I won't be sending this one back. It's an exciting read -- straight talk. Refreshing, while inspiring the rewards of dedication, discipline and creative listening. Thank you Kent!
